Benefits
- ₹6,000 per year in three equal installments of ₹2,000 each.
- Amount is transferred directly to the beneficiary's Aadhaar-linked bank account.
- Support helps in buying inputs like seeds, fertilizers, and other farming essentials.
Eligibility Criteria
- All landholding farmer families, irrespective of the size of their landholding.
- Must have a valid Aadhaar number.
- Land ownership records should be updated and available with the State Government.
- Exclusions: Institutional landholders, serving or retired government employees, income tax payers in the last assessment year.
Application Process
Steps to Apply:
- Visit the official website: https://pmkisan.gov.in.
- Click on 'New Farmer Registration'.
- Enter Aadhaar number and CAPTCHA, then proceed.
- Fill in the personal and land details as required.
- Submit the form and note down the registration/reference ID.
Application Modes:
- Online via PM-KISAN portal
- Offline via local revenue officials, Village Level Entrepreneurs (VLEs), or CSCs (Common Service Centres)

Is this scheme available to tenant farmers?
Currently, the scheme is only for landholding farmers as per state/UT land records. Tenant farmers are not covered unless they have ownership rights.
What if my name is not in the beneficiary list?
You can visit the PM-KISAN portal, use the Helpdesk section, or contact your local agriculture officer to resolve the issue.

Rameshbhai, a farmer in Junagadh, owns 1 acre of land and has a valid Aadhaar and bank account. He registered on the PM-KISAN portal in 2023. Since then, he receives ₹2,000 every four months directly in his bank account. This timely support helps him buy seeds and fertilizers during sowing seasons.

- Beneficiaries should ensure Aadhaar is seeded with their bank account.
